China has successfully launched it's second space lab into orbit. Part of China's plan to have a fully operational space station in orbit by 2022, the Tiangong-2 which was launched on September 16 is set to replace the Tiangong-1 which officials have said will re-enter Earth's atmosphere in the second half of 2017.
With China's plan to have a space station in orbit, they may be the only world power with a permanent space facility as the ISS (International Space Station) is scheduled to go out of service the same year China's space station is set to become operational.
