The Brick Pagoda, also known as Jiachen Xiang Brick Pagoda, is located in the Jiachen Xiang on Ganjiang Lu. It was listed as a Suzhou Protected Cultural Relic in 1982. The octagon Brick Pagoda has five stories, 6.82-meter high. Every side of the octagon at the base of the pagoda is 0.51-meter long. And the diameter is 1.2 meters. Many residential houses were built around the Pagoda at the beginning of the Republic of China era, but the Pagoda was seriously damaged in 1966 during the Culture Revolution. It was rebuilt in 1993. The base was reinforced and most of the structure of the Pagoda was restored to its original shape. Additionally, a small courtyard was built around the Brick Pagoda at this time.
